This morning I noticed that when I pushed the gas my car didn't "go" right away. On my ride into work my car began to idle up and down very quickly whenever I stopped. Then when I started to go it hesitated, kicked in, hesitated again ect. It didn't seem like it was going to kill, just idled strangley and wouldn't go. The check engine light came on a few days ago but went off. Any thoughts on what could cause this?

- For starters, have you had the PCM (computer) scanned for codes? Autozone will do it for free. If the PCM sees a problem it will store a code that will help in diagnosing the problem.
