1996 Pontiac Grand Am shuts off right after it starts up

I replaced the key ignation on my grand am. Now when I start it up, it will start up just fine and shuts off 2 seconds later. I dont know what to do?

First thing you should do is clean the throttle plate and throttle body, if this doesnt help then you'll need to test for fuel pressure and spark
