1995 Pontiac Grand Am smell gas and bad gas miliage

Hello my name is harold and I own a 1995 pontiac grand am se. The problem im having is that the car is getting bad gas miliage for a 4 cyclender, somewhere around 15 miles too a gallon. I also smell gas at times and looked over the entire engine and see no gas dripping any where what can be the problem

Check fuel pressure regulator for the presence of gas in the vacuum line. If there the FPR diaphram is ruptured.

Other possibilities are a bad injector. Check oil for the presence of gasoline.
