Is the smoke black or white? Also sounds like a water pump problem or a bad hose. Do not tuirn the car on while in this condition. It could make the car catch on fire very quickly. I know because I had a car do this to me 6 yrs ago because a tranny connection was loose and tranny fluid ran down the exhaust pipe and the next thing I knew black smoke was coming thru the vents and I stopped very quickly and unhooked the uhail I was pulling, pushed it away from my car and started throwing stuff out of my car out the windows and out of the trunk and got it all out right before the engine burst into flames big time and it took two fire trucks to put it out. That was right after I had spent over $2,000 completely redoing my car, I replaced every single part on that car including a new paint job and my insurance wouldnt cover it because of the age and that really sucked. It was a 1986 Mercury Sable completely restored and the jerk who had supposedly rebuilt the tranny apparently didnt check the tranny line after he put it back in. JERK.
