smoke is coming out from the hood what should I do?Check for? And where do I pour water in at?

The smoke is probably because the coolant overflow tank is boiling over and the excess coolant is hitting the hot surfaces of the motor. For starters I would look into replacing the thermostat, it is the cheapest and easiest fix. Also look around the engine compartment with the motor running, (be careful not to get sprayed with any coolant) and see if u can see where the coolant is leaking from.
