Hi I have a 2000 Pontiac Bonneville that sat for 2 months with battery removed. The car started and ran fine before parking it for body repairs. The engine will hit like it is going to start on first or second crank but nothing after that. The battery was charged several times and the key was turned on while the battery was charging (many lights flashed on/off before shutting the key off). 40LBS fuel pressure on rail, Security light stops flashing and goes on steady when key is inserted in the ignition. Havent been able to check for code.

Does the light stay on when you crank the engine? If so, take it to a dealer. The security system has shut down the engine and they are the only ones that have the proper test equipment to diagnose the problem.
