1993 Pontiac Bonneville Stalls and hesitates while driving

Starts fine. Never rebuilt. If at idle it sometimes stalls. When driving it hesitates then runs fine. No pattern. Mechanics can't deplicate it. It will go for days OK then act up 5 times in 30 minutes. While driving the engine light flashes. No codes are left in the computer. They changed the timing sensor but it still acts up intermittantly. A friend suggested the ECM but I haven't tried that yet.

Hi
Suspect Ignition module top right front engine can be tested at Auto Zone. Next when it does it's thing get to side road or lot at ALDL: jumper term. A to B paper clip works good. without turning key completly off leave in on position jump terms. see if MIL flashes see diagram
