HI MY NAME IS TONY.
IM EMAILING YOU BECAUSE I HAVE A PROBLEM WITH MY CAR. MY CAR STARTS UP FOR ABOUT 2 TO 4 SECONDS AND STALLS.I APPLY MY FOOT ON THE GAS BUT ONCE I LET OFF GAS IT STALLS. ONE MORNING MY WIFE DROVE IT FOR ABOUT 20 MINS AND IT STALLED. IN ORDER FOR ME TO DRIVE I HAVE TO KEEP FOOT ON GAS AND WITH OTHER FOOT PRESS THE BRAKE TO SWITCH INTO REVERSE OR DRIVE. DO YOU HAVE ANY IDEAS?

Hi Tony:
Tony there are a few things that could this problem. One of the cheapest things would be if you have a vacuum leak. Check under the hood to see if there are any broken or damaged vacuum hoses. Also, listen for a leak if the car will stay running.

If you have no luck with that, take the car to a nationally recognized auto parts store and have them scan the computer to check for stored trouble codes. Hopefully the computer recognized a problem and identified it.
