We have had our minivan to the dealership and 2 other repair shops to try to find the problem. The dash lights come on when I turn the key, but there is no sound, no clicking, NOTHING! It will run fine for weeks then I'll go to the store, come out and it won't start. Anywhere from 20 minutes to 6 hours later, it will start. We have had the starter, battery and gasket replaced. The mechanics have checked the ignition switch, neutral saftey switch and have had a scanner hooked up to it and found NOTHING. This has been an ongoing problem for 9 months now and I'm just about ready to throw in the towel. Help! Is there something we haven't checked? What should we do? We are stumped and frustrated and not getting much cooperation from the dealership, since each time they have the minivan, it starts. Argh! Help! Oh, I have noticed that when I open the drivers side front door that the inside light does not go on, but when any other door is opened, the lights come on. Shouldn't an electrical problem (if that is it) come up on the scanner? Thanks for any feedback. You guys are great! :X

I also have this problem with a Sundance (compact). The one mechanic thinks it's the gas filter (in the tank). So wait until the gas tank is almost empty to drop it. Ha-ha-ha! I had a chevy corsica that stopped dead right on a railroad track. Took it to the chevy dealer and it was the computer module.I still think that is what the deal is with my Sundance, but I'm a female, what do I know. Lol

Let me know what happens with your vehicle. Maybe it will help on this end.

Thanks.
