Electrical problem
1997 Plymouth Voyager 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic

I just changed the starter as it was "clicking to start, " but now, even with the new starter, no sound at all and I have to HOT WIRE the car to start. Any ideas? The car has 154,000 miles. Thanks

follow up

Could the starter relay fuse cause the starter to not turn over? I changed the battery and the starter but have to HOT WIRE the car from the starter to the battery to turn it over. Thanks. Fv

After sitting on pins and needles waiting for your response, I finally took the car to a repair shop who first DID WHAT YOU SAID with the fuse by changing an adjoining one for the possible bad fuse and that wasn't it. He tells me now the ignition switch is bad, about $200 labor and $60 for the switch.
