Engine Mechanical problem
1995 Plymouth Neon 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic

MY CAR HAS BEEN DOING THIS FOR A WHILE. I WILL DRIVE IT. IT DRIVES FINE. I WOULD PARK IT. GO INSIDE A STORE AND COME OUT AND THE CAR WONT START. IT TURNS OVER LIKE IT ALMOST ONCE TO START BUT JUST WONT START. IT WAS SITTIN FOR SIX MONTHS BECAUSE OF THIS SAME ISSUE. A MECHANIC TOOK IT TO HIS SHOP AND CHARGED THE BATTERY AND IT CRANKED RITE UP. NOW I HAVE BOUGHT A NEW BATTERY, ALTERNATOR WAS REPLACED LAST YEAR. STARTER AS WELL. IM LOST CAN ANYONE HELP

When the problem occurs, have a helper crank it, while you visually check for spark at the plugs. If that checks out, use a gage and check fuel pressure. Don't let gas spray all over a hot engine. Safety is your responsibility. Any applicable trouble codes? As far as checking spark, you can carry a known good plug or spark tester in the glove box, it won't get hot.
