1999 Plymouth Breeze Automatic 40000 miles

Hi,
Yesterday 4 things happened as I was driving along:
Speedometer and odometer stopped moving, yellow steady light came on for check engine and car seems to drive only in low geer.
Is there hope that this is something minor that needs to be tightened up or some electrical part rather than a transmission job?
Thanks,
Mike

You need to get the computer scanned and get back with us with the codes.

Sounds like the output sensor has failed or the signal to it is out of wack.
Hopefuly it's just a sensor and not the computer.
Scanning the system is the easiest way to tell though.
