Check engine light came on this morning after feeling car shake on freeway. Turned ignition switch on, off, on, off, on and retrieved the following number of flashes of the check engine light. 1, 2, 4, 3, 5, 5. Each number of flashes followed by a pause. I did this 3 times to be accurate. What do these numbeers represent and what does the code mean is wrong with my car?

1, 2 is 12 means start of test.
5, 5 is 55 end of test.

Code 43 is for multiple cylinder misfire. Start by checking the plugs, wires, and coil. Make sure that the wires are tight and plugs are still good.
