Hello,
Car ran good with no smoke but cut out after 10-15 minutes, then cut out and will not run except very rough off two cylinders, 2 and 3. Replaced coil, crank sensor, cam sensor, battery, plugs, wires. Checked compression, about 185-210, Cam turns as it will run briefly with two cylinders. Fans operate direct off battery but not off conector and all fuses good. The only thing I see left is pcm. Could there be another reason other than this? Thank you!

You have replaced practically everything that pertains to the problem with 1/4 no fire-bottom line here now is the computer coil driver is it doing its job-sounds PCM problem to me than again could be a wiring problem from the CPS to the PCM

Ordered reman pcm from autozone, $195, Engine fired right up, Did smoke and knock a bit strong, Oild build up in cylinders and sticking lifters, Ran it for a good 30 minutes, added small amount 1/4 quart trans fluid to oil, Changed oil & filter plus good ole STP Oil Treatment, Fires right up, runs strong, quiet "no smoke or knocking" with very good power.
Running off two cylinders, dirty oil, no tune up, fans not working, pcm failure, fouled up the engine. New cam, crank, and temp sensor plus bosch platinums, new wires, coil, fluid change then PCM did wonders! All for $350 done myself. Not hard at all. PCM needs to learn the vehicle too. Run it, drive it, turn stuff on and off ect. Hope this helps someone! Car is doing great now!
