I have a 2001 park avenue and when I get up to 35 my front wheel shakes like it wants to fall off. I just replaced hub bearing, tire rod and stabilizer bar, but I had a side mechanic fix my rack and pinion. Could he had rigged that up and could that be the reason why my wheel shakes soooooo bad that I have to almost come to a complete stop?
Thank you.

We could try to troubleshoot, but, What your talking about sounds dangerous. Take it to an alignment shop.

The passenger side wheel is shaking dangerously to where I have to come to an almost complete stop. Im thinking that the person that fixed my rack and pinion rigged something up because we see some type of string hanging, like he has tied something up and Im thinking he tried to replace some type of belt that has something to do with my suspension but not for sure which belt would make my wheel shake. You can see the string as soon as you take the tire off. It starts to shake when I get up to 35 and when I go to put the brakes on. Now if Im driving and it starts to shake, sometimes I can slightly turn the wheel left or right and the shaking goes away, but if im driving straight on a smooth road, it shakes. Bad!

You need to get that checked out by somebody that can see it. You shouldn't be driving that till you get it checked out.

You could safely raise and support the vehicle, then try shaking the tire, in and out, up/down, sideways. If you get any movement, see where it is coming from. Have you tried rotating the tires? Sometimes your brakes can cause a vibration? I've seen bad shocks cause a vibration, although, not as bad as what your talking about.
