Passenger door stuck closed

I was having a problem with the handle on the outside and I ordered a new one. Now I'm trying to change them, and the outside handle is gone, and the door won't open now. How can I get it open?

Hi,

It should still open from the inside, but if not, it has to be a problem with the linkage. On the outside where the handle is missing, can you see or feel a steel linkage rod?

If you look below, I provided a pic from the inside of the door. The steel rod linkage is what opens the door. You should be able to reach that rod. If you can't with your fingers, take a mechanic extendable magnet and fish around in the door for it.

Once you locate it, pull on it and the door should open. If it doesn't, then either the latch is bad, or the linkage has come off the latch assembly. In that case, the inside door panel needs removing to access things.
