Hi,

Okay. Let me know if you need anything as far as schematics. Also, let me know if there is anything I can do to help.

Take care,

Joe

Appreciate all the help you have given me. Usually, electrical is my specialty but this has really stumped me. I can work around the issue fairly well. Took the car on a 8 hour road trip a couple of weeks ago and only had to turn on my heater twice the whole trip and that was just because I was at higher RPMs going at an incline, but for most of the trip I had A/C on biggest issue happens on hotter days or at idle. It likes to get a little hot for my liking but it’s pretty easy to avoid anything serious by using the heater and rolling the windows down. Just would prefer to not have to worry about it. Within the last few weeks, I have been slowing replacing just about everything on the vehicle to brand new as a lot of it was pretty worn calipers, tie rod, all new fluids and filters so besides the cooling issue the car is almost all new and great.

I understand. Electrical issues, which normally can be easy to figure out, can also be a nightmare.

Regardless, let me know what I can do to help.

So not sure if you’d have a clue as to why this is for but was changing out some radiator hose clamps and found this connected dangling down looks like a light bulb connector, but nothing is missing a plug it’s also either wired in or tied into the same harness that runs through the front bumper that connects to the airbag sensors on the front. Only odd thing I have seen or if you know if a trailer plug could be causing these issues because I noticed my car has one hooked up.

Hi,

The trailer wiring certainly could be causing issues. I don't believe this vehicle came with one from the factory. So, someone must have added it.

As far as the plug in the pic, can you tell me what color the wires are going to it? Also, are there two wires?

Let me know,

Joe

From what I could see one is definitely yellow the other one might be black. I’d have to take another look to confirm but should only be two wires.

Hi,

Confirm the wires are solid yellow and solid black. I looked through everything I could find and the only two-pin connector with a yellow and a black wire is the engine coolant temperature sensor. I attached two pics below. One shows the wiring to the sensor, and one shows the coolant temperature sensor location.

See if that helps.

Hi,

I went through every schematic I can find and there are several green with a white stripe, but I can't find any that green with a black stripe.

Are you certain that is the color?

Yes, definitely the color which makes me think it’s not factory wiring, and the previous owner must have done some wiring into the loom themselves.

Hi,

The only green with a black tracer that I was able is for the ambient light sensor, which shouldn't be in that location.
