Where exactly is the purge valve located? I have been searching Google and YouTube and the results come back with purge canister, purge solenoid etc, but nothing with just the exact wording. I've replaced the EVAP Evaporative Emissions Vapor Canister Purge Vent Valve Solenoid by the gas tank and the Vapor Canister Purge Solenoid Valve close to firewall. The code still displays. Can anyone point me in right direction with a picture or model of part I need? Thanks in advance.

It sounds like you have already replaced both the vent and purge valve, (there are only 2 valves int he EVAP system). To be clear the purge valve is at the rear of the intake manifold, is this the one you replaced?

P0444 - EVAP Purge Volume Control Valve Circuit Open

So, this is a circuit open code so if you have replaced the valves the wiring needs to be checked, I can provide the guides and wiring diagrams for the repair if you want to go that route?

First off. Thanks for responding. For sure I'll take the guides and writing diagrams. I have attached a video to show you what I changed. We drove it to emissions, but it failed, the guy said it didn't have sufficient information. It had to run several times. Do you have any info on this cycling process? What distance speed etc?

Yep, that is the correct valve (Purge).

Here is a guide to help with the monitor resets:

I would check the EVAP lines and the gas cap seal, these are common places of leaks.

Please go over these guides and get back to us.
