Sir, my car overheat, though there is no gauge of heat but its body and engine seems to be like fire. Engine oil I using is 20w 50, engine oil level on dipstick showing a level of half as I driven to 200 km approximately. Also, at idle position rpm comes down and when I increase rpm through pedal on idle, car switch off when I release paddle. Please help and advice where is the problem. Really helpful for your advice.

Hello,

This sounds like a problem with the exhaust system being plugged. I would check the catalytic converter first.

Here is a guide that will help you see if that is the problem.

Please let us know what happens.

Thanks for your reply Ken.I checked with mechanic and he said that its gasket blown.I placed new head gasket set, changed filter, new spark plugs. Now car pickup increase and no overheat issue, but it is giving same fuel average which was before, around 10km/l. How to increase fuel average?

Try disconnecting the battery for a couple of hours to see if the system resets. Then drive it for a while to see the new average.
