RPM became too high after engine tuning

Hi Sir,

I do routine car checkup form Toyota service center, but after my recent engine tuning service which involves most importantly
1. Throttle cleanup,
2. Spark plugs cleaning,
3. Resetting fuse from fuse box at the end

after I started the engine I felt a high rpm as my engine sounds a bit high than normal, I inquired the mechanic but he says it will get normal in an hour or two as it happens after every tune up service.

I did not notice any such thing before with engine tuning service so I put a complaint against them but all in vain.

Now I have changed my oil, oil filter, air filter but still I feel that my car is driving a bit harder than before as my car runs / drives very smoothly after engine tuning and changing oil, oil filter, air filter.

Can you guys give me an expert opinion in this regard.

Clean throttle plate on both sides and iac hole(oblong hole in throttle body) then check for a vacuum leak like hose off /broken, cracked etc.

Hello, Thanks for your kind reply.
I'll surely check all mentioned things by today and will come back with a good news hopefully :)

Can you guide me how come it happens all of sudden to my car like before entering workshop for tuning, car was perfectly fine, after exiting workshop car went bad.

Also few more observations I just had.

Observation 1: if I put my car in 1st gear and releases clutch gradually, the car starts moving automatically without my foot on accelerator.

Observation 2: the engine is consuming more engine oil than before, I checked for leakage but not found any.

Have it checked for a blown head gasket and it may be moving due to high idle.

Hi Sir,

Its working perfectly fine now, I asked mechanic to
1. Clean up throttle body
2. Clean engine exhaust
3. Also put new spark plugs (as one of the spark plug seems to be leak)

Now the car is driving very smoothly with the flow.
HATS OFF to you. Bundle of thanks.
