Cooling fan works with direct power but will not otherwise. Fuses & relays are good. MAF has been replaced. Based on research I am trying to find ECT sensor to test.

Yep that is a good place to start, but can you tell me if the fans comes on shortly after turning the AC on? This will help us see what is happening. There is a amin fan system ground I would look at G102 which is above the right headlight. I would also check the 70 amp fuse #4 in the fuse panel under the hood for power on both sides and cooling fan fuse 60 amp in the fuse panel under the hood as well. They both should have power on both sides at all times, here is a guide to help you.

Let me know what you find. Please go over this guide and get back to us. Here is the location of the coolant temperature sensor and I will email it to you. Check out the images (below). Make sure to drain the coolant first with the engine cold.
