My car overheats after 5 minute of operating. If you open the radiator cap it has no water but the reservoir is full. When the car overheats you can see smoke and water marks behind the engine cap towards the passenger side. The leak does not seem to be coming from the radiator because the spill is not coming from the front. As soon as you add coolant, you'll see it on the ground automatically. The coolant seems to spill from under the throttle body, everything is so compacted together that is hard to see where the issue is.

Good afternoon,

I would start by doing a pressure test to locate the leak. Once you locate it, take a picture and post it here for me to see.

I would also replace the cap. It sounds like it has a bad valve in the cap.

The thermostat is another thing you should change as well as it may be stuck closed causing the coolant to get too hot.
