My car is overheating for some reason. It got cold out and it only had water in it so it damaged the radiator. I have replaced the radiator and thermostat. No leaks anywhere in the system. The water pump was replaced four months ago. The coolant fans are running continuous at the moment due to my coolant temperature sensor being nonfunctional. I have jumped the connectors to keep them on in until I get the sensor in. The only codes I am getting from check engine light is 14: coolant temperature sensor and 2: oxygen content B. I have ran out of ideas here. Also, there should not be any air in the system. It dose not overheat when radiator cap is not on. It also has a new cap as well. Please help!

Good morning.

The first thing I would do is have a leak down test done to the cylinders to check the head gasket. Most likely you have a leaking head gasket causing the overheating. The head gasket got damaged from the overheating.
I would start there.

I also forgot to mention that I did a compression test and all cylinders were in good range.

Ok, good.

Compression test is different from a leak down test
