Overheating

The temperature needle on my dashboard says that the car is overheating, but the car runs just fine. Except for the fact that my air conditioning loses its cooling abilities.

Hello,

You might want to get an infrared thermometer and check the temperature of your vehicles cylinder head or the upper radiator hose while your vehicle is idling and up to temp. This will give you an accurate reading of your engine's temperature and we can go from there. Please get back us with your reading.
