Replaced the water pump, thermostat and coolant. Starts up runs fine. Drive about 3 miles at 55 mph, needle goes up to the L. Engine still runs fine no cut out no die, no stall. Fan is working (replaced the fan and clutch) all new hoses. Still hot. What next?

Make sure tstat is in correctly and not upside down. Try bleeding system see pic. Also when hot feel radiator for cold spots if you feel any rad may be bad. Finally have coolant system pressure checked for a bad head /intake gasket.
