When turning on the blinker to the right side the dash indicator blinks normal for like three times then starts blinking fast. Assumed the bulb was bad. New bulb did not fix. The front right and fender mount turn signals work normally, only rear light will not work. Have not replaced anything but bulb. I did check voltage at the socket with a multi-meter and could not get any voltage readings, none, nothing, not even a smidgen of power showing on meter. Left side works normally. Fuses seem to be good outside of the relay and maybe the BCM (whichever one controls that is beyond me and heard that they have to be programmed).
As a note on the left side (driver's side) if you were to remove the rear lens assembly there is some sort of relay inside attached to the lens assembly next to turn light socket, in which this inhibits you from removing the left turn light socket if it burns out. This relay has multiple wires going to the lights and it also runs to the right rear light across the rear of the car. I do not know what to think of that thing and hopefully not the issue. Can someone please give me some ideas or if this is a common occurrence on Saturn Vue's? Thanks

Hello, I am Danny.

Did you check that relay with your multi-meter? Maybe you have voltage going in and none going off to right side. You should check. I have attached a tutorial showing how to check a relay. I have also attached a schematic.Usually if the BCM is at fault you would lose all turn/tail lamps. Hope this helps and thanks for using 2CarPros.

Thanks. I checked all the relays and voltages. Everything was good except the lamp socket. The left side light (as I stated in my original description) has a aftermarket trailer relay assembly. I removed this assembly and the lights work normally again. Glad the issue was not BCM or unseen wiring issue. All is well now. Thanks for the schematic, that helped me identify the aftermarket trailer assembly which did not show up on schematic.
