I am having a problem with my air conditioning blowing anything cold, in a 99 Olds Silhouette Premiere. Worked up until last week. I can be handy on working on cars, but lack any knowledge on car part names, so please work with me here. When I turn the air on, there is the normal click. The fan on the passenger side, behind the radiator does turn on when I turn th air on, and the clutch spins, and stops spinning like it should when the air is turned on and off. Had the R134a checked, pressure is good. I felt the low pressure line coming from the compressor, after having the air on for about 10 minutes, feels moderately cold. Dont know if that is supposed to be cold or hot. But the air temp with either the front controlls or rear controlls, does not change wether the air is on or not.

Any suggestions?

If the comp wont stay engaged adn the pressures are good, could be a weak low side cycling switch or a coil on the compressor is weak. Use a test light to see if there is power at the compressor even when it is off, if so the coil is too weak to hold, if not test the low side switch to see if it is passing power through
