1996 Other Oldsmobile Models brakes

Left rear brake is locking up when the peddal is pressed, and when you start the car the brake peddal is hard until toy push the peddal down a few times. Wheel cyl. Is not leaking and the shoes are in good condition. Any ideas?

Sounds like you have a problem with your master cylinder.
