1992 Oldsmobile Delta 88 How to replace speed sensor

My questions is, where is the speed sensor located because I want to replace it myself. Also, will I be able to get to if from underneath the car or to I have to access speed sensor for top of the engine? Is the speed sensor located on the right or left side if I were position under the car?

If the 8th digit of your VIN is L then it will be located on the lower right side of engine, below the oil filter (pictured below).

If 8th digit of VIN is 1 then it is located on lower right side of engine (pictured below).

Acces sensor from underneath. Right side of engine refers to passenger side.
