1990 Oldsmobile Delta 88 car wont start

My battery was dead so I replaced it. When I tried to start it after I replaced the battery it turns over great but I dont have spark. Is there a code or something I have to do to reset the computer? I had a friend tell me he had the same problem on a car and they reset the computer and it worked again is a does a car that old have to reset? And how do you do it?

No snapping blue spark continue to troubleshoot the ignition system-power input to the coil/coil packs, distributor pick-up coil, ignition control module, cam and crank sensors- Note: If it doesn't apply disregard it

Well I changed the coil now it sputters n starts now it vibrates but wont drive it dies in gear

All I get for a code is 12 and reading other posts everything is fine but it isnt it idels HARD stutters and if you put it in gear it dies instantly I have spark now I pulled some plugs and they have a white film on them but not burnt so could it be the crank sensor I unplugged it and it just turns over but plugged in it starts and if it is that how do you change it?
