HAVE REPLACED THE FUEL FILTER AND FUEL PUMP CAR WILL RUN IF YOU DIRECTLY FEED IT THE GAS OR STARTER FLUID BUT WILL NOT STAY RUNNING ONCE YOU QUIT.

What is your engine size? Is there an injector pulse? One way to check for injector pulse, use an led testlite on the two terminals for the injector plug, have a helper crank the engine, see if the lite pulses. I guess your mfi if your tbi, you can see the injector spray.

I Know very little about cars but I have an 89 cutlass and the problem with my car sounds similar. When I start the car, it will run for a second and then die unless I give it some gas while still in park it will run. It has also been stalling out when pulling into an intersection and sounds like it might die when driving at slow speeds. Have any ideas before I take it to the garage?
