1996 Oldsmobile Ciera Gas smell

I have been having a problem with a gas smell on my car. I have been told it could be the fuel injectors. Doesn't matter what time of day hot or cold I get this gas smell.
is this a costly thing to repair. I know I need to get it done before summer sets in.
any help is good.

Can you tell aprox what area the smell is coming from? Also, please remember, any fuel leak is a potential fire hazard.

I have had the car fixed it was a leaking fule injector. #4. The car works great and the repair was under 300 bucks. I was treated very well by the mechanic and don't feel like he took advantage of me being female.
