My Bravada is running too cool on the gage. It is also not putting out hot air like it did a week ago. I have new antifreeze, new hoses, no leaks, no antifreeze in the oil. I have put a new thermostat in and it shows a little warmer on the gage, somewhere around 150 to 160 degrees but only hot air comes out the heater at 82 setting. Before it would be hot about 74 to 76 degrees. If you have any ideas I would appreciate it. Thanks, Dallen

Hello,

It sounds like the blend door actuator is starting to go bad.

When the actuator goes bad it can get stuck in either the hot or cold position. It can even have no hot or cold air until a certain point on the temperature control. Which is the issue you are having. However it will probably stop working all together in some point.

The blend door actuator is located behind the dash on the driver side.
It is mounted to the HVAC box.

Here is a helpful article:

I have attached diagrams for your reference.

Please let me know of any questions.

Thank you.
