1999 Oldsmobile Alero car starts very rough

On my 1999 Olds Alero in the morning my car starts very rough. It usually takes 2-3 trys to start it. The first and second time it slams very hard. Then when it does start it runs fine. I have had the coil packs, spark plugs and coil housing replaced in the past few months but it still seems like it starts rough. I recently moved to Houston Texas from Buffalo NY and I have been told that it could be the fuel filter and or ignition system. What do you think?

Check the fuel pressure if its within specs if okay. Clean out the ide air control valve and test the coolant temperature sensor, throttle position sensor and manifold absolute pressure sensor and also clean out the EGR/PCV valves
