1996 Oldsmobile 88 Desperate need of an engine diagnostic t

Dear 2CarPros:

I have managed to loose our multi-car diagnostic tool which was I believe.(?) Was a Nova brand 3100 (?) And could diagnose problems with all the cars we own. My husband needed it last week-end and he was LIVID.
He said they don't make them any more and he had to have it to see if the high beam head light problem was in the light switch. I have spent hours trying to figure out how to find a supplier for an analyzer for the 1996 Olds that will ALSO work for the 2003 Chevrolet Impala (*the IMPALA IS THE CAR WITH THE HEADLIGHT PROBLEM) I'm willing to pay the $200 + for another Nova 3100.(Or an equivalent)but I can't find one!

Can you help me?

Thanks for the donation.

I am not certain we have anything like what you speak of but you are more than welcome to check them out. You should also try sites such as craigslist. Com and ebay. Com to search for the specific tool you are looking for, since it is no longer being produced and sold in stores.

I searched the eBay. Com website and found the scanner you speak of. It is a newer edition of the Innova 3100, called the Innova 3140 but it works same as the one you speak of.
