My car recently died shortly after starting. It will crank over and fires a little every 15-20 seconds.
It also pops back a little in the intake after stopping cranking it over. It apperars to have spark and fuel pressure. In the last 5k I have changed plugs, wires, coil pack and can't see any loose wires and no trouble codes found. Could something have happened with the valve train? Or other?
Thanks in advance.

I will do the compression test tomorrow. What should I look for at the crank sensor. If crank sensor issue should that not show up a trouble code?

Any other simple test to do?

Thanks
