Hi there I have a 92 Olds 88 that will Randomly die. When it dies I lose spark, I can get the engine going again by disconnecting the ICM and either reconnecting it or changing it with another used ICM I have. I have three used ICM all together and the car has died using all 3 of them, please note that none of the ICM's are new but 2 are from the auto wreckers and one was in the car when I bought it. I have also changed all spark plugs and cables, and the water pump has been replaced. The car seems to die when its either been running for long dives 30mins plus or on really hot days. The car does get pretty warm but the temp gage never goes 1 or 2 bars over half. Also when I changed the water pump I cleaned both the Cam shaft and Crank shaft sensors. So now I have no clue what to try, I dont know if I should take the hit to the wallet and buy a brand new ICM or if I need to replace sensors, or if something is overheating. Also I do not get a check engine light and have no codes either. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Clean your grounds there may be aground wire by the ecm inside the car. Clean that as well. You might be getting the grounds hot from running a long time thenthey lose ground and it quits. Clean all fo them on the engine as well.
