Engine will not idle

1992 Delta 88 Olds - it also flashes dash lights after start up. Will not remain running. Dies if I try to take off.

made several attempts to fix.
new wires and plugs
fuel pump ok
ignition module new
battery cable ends replaced
sounds like a short but I dont know where to look for the short.
Any suggestions?

Could be throttle body caked all up. Could be a failed idle air control.
I would at least have a shop confirm the failure for you so you can replace the failed part. Then you wont be throwing parts at it that do not fix the car.
