Dads Delta 88, 1987 after it runs for a short time(errands) and he comes out to restart it, it turns over, starts for a millisecond or two and dies, over and over. Dad has to wait at-least an hour and a half or more, then starts, runs fine until next time it decides to do it again.

So far had the Crank Sensor and Cam Sensors replaced, had the Ignition Module replaced twice, starter is new as well. Now the Engine light comes on and throws off codes 34 and 44. Mass Air-flow sensor and Oxygen sensors? Will these two things be the problem? It only happens when the car is driven a short while, not from the beginning when cold? Any advice, Do we put more money into this? Thanks.

Hi, you might unplug the maf sensor. See if the vehicle acts any better? If it does better, you need to check the maf sensor and wiring circuits. I realize unplugging sensors is poor diagnostics, but, the computer may use a default value for the sensor, that value might let it run.
