Oil pressure switch not working properly?

My oil pressure gauge started to go off the scale on the high side every now and then, now it just went all the way around pointing to about 5 o clock. I just installed a new pressure switch. When I started the truck up the needle did a little wiggle and it was just off the scale. When I shut truck off needle just sits at the same spot. Any advice?

Yep, the oil pressure gauge needs to be replaced but on this video, it is internal to the cluster which I have seen people disassemble the cluster and just replace the gauge which I believe you can get on Amazon. If not, you will need to get a rebuilt or used cluster which you can find by searching Ebay. Here is how to remove the cluster. Check out the images (below). Let us know if you need anything else. You might want to try to disconnect the battery overnight that can sometimes fix it.
