Hello, I have the car listed above GT 4.6 3V. I'm wondering what size the bolt is that secures the oil dipstick tube to the cylinder head. Apparently, I had misplaced mine when I took everything apart and forgot to secure the bolt in a Ziploc bag.

Hi,

The size isn't something that our manuals supply. However, (this is from memory) I believe it is an M8 x 20.

Go to a hardware store and ask for that size. It should be correct. If it threads in, make sure it fully seats and doesn't stop due to length.

Let me know if it works.

Take care,

Joe

I appreciate the speedy response as always. Thanks Joe. I will try that out when I can get to the hardware store.

Chris, you are very welcome. I believe the size I gave you is correct. The length is my biggest concern. I don't want it to be too long and damage anything.

Regardless, if you have a chance, let me know if it works out for you.
