Coolant and oil mixed.

You are correct that it is going to be near the oil filter. Basically, it is on the oil filter housing if it is equipped.

It is not clear on the 5.4L if it has the cooler but if you look at the oil filter housing and it has two lines running from it then that is the cooler.
