Okay guys, you've been with me to this entire motor installation. Change the motor got that done and all hooked up. You guys help me with the starter problem, got that fixed. Got the motor freed up to where it spins like a dream. Fix the wiring for the battery hold on yards motor cranked finally. So, I was like awesome. So, once I got the motor free and I realized it would crank from the key I can turn the key and it cranked I was like yes. So, I put the breather back on plugged it in hooked the belt back up, hooked up the spark plugs. I got in turn the key on everything lit up everything's fine, as soon as I went to turn it to crank it all of a sudden it started it immediately started crank and clicked and then the lights went down and there's no dash lights turn the key on the fuel pump don't kick in there's no dash lights there's no nothing the radio comes on if you open the door the lights come on so there's power to the battery but when you turn the key other than auxiliary nothing happens what did I do where did I mess up.

Hmm, make sure the battery to engine and chassis grounds are connected. Also, I would charge the battery to see if anything changes. Let's check the fuses as well and make sure the battery cables are clean and tight. Can you please upload a short video of what's going on? That would help.

Check the main fuses in the panel. Check out the images (below). Please let us know what happens.

I found out the problem. When I bolted on the dipstick tube for the transmission the start wire for the starter and the wire for the knock sensor got pinched, since it was on the back of the motor it was really hard to see. Found this out after (thanks to you guys) 8 realized the ignition a 40-amp fuse was blown, I replaced, and it blew again. So, I traced all my wires and there it was. I tell you it's been one thing after another with this ride and I've worked on vehicles off and on my whole life. Helped people change motors but this was my first solo run and talk about a b***** when you have limited tools, time, and space. Thanks for everything, all of you. I'll video the results in the morning and show you guys where I'm at. Thanks for everything!

I am glad you got that figured out and thanks for the video. It does not sound good, can I ask what brand starter did you use?
