So way back when I pulled the wrong fuse for my door lights and it fried my odometer, dealer quoted me almost $1,000.00 to replace it. But I definitely couldn’t afford that so I found a used one that had close miles but more than what the vehicle actually has, and installed it myself. I had no plans to sell it but things have changed and I think you can see my issue. Since the odometer has more miles and hasn’t been rolled back I wasn’t sure if this would cause me issues at a dealer if I do a trade in? Any information would be great. I know that in PA I can make it exempt since it is over ten years old but I wasn’t sure if I wanted to do that or not. Thank you!
