Welcome to 2CarPros. That code is an Internal Control Module Fuel Injector Control Performance code. IE it is a self test run inside the power train control module and it has a problem internal to the fuel injector high voltage control module. To test it requires a dealer level scan tool that can actuate the injectors and see if one is shorted or grounded and to check the voltages at each injector as it is triggered by the tool. If none are showing a problem then you clear the code using the tool and then test to see if the code comes back. For that you clear the code, shut the key off for 20 seconds, then back on and then off again. Then verify there still is no code. Next start the engine and keep it at an idle for at least 30 seconds. Re-check for a first trip P062b code. If it is stored and the injectors and voltages tested good you need to replace and program in a new power train control module.

When you say power train control module, do you mean ECU? Or is this a completely different part? This is the first time I’ve ever dealt with anything like this. Thanks for your information and quick response.

Also I checked the codes again and now it’s throwing a bank 1 running too rich code p172. I’ve been thinking that it’s faulty fuel injectors and not the ECU, but after researching these codes lead directly to the fuel injectors. I’m going to take it to a shop but was wanting to know if I was going in the right direction with my diagnosis?

Yes the code says that the ECU has lost control of the injectors, The first code you posted is an internal error on the main board of the ECU. The running to rich can mean that the ECU is now trying to hold the injectors open or they are shorted and stuck open. The only way to tell which is the case is to test the injectors using a power balance test and measuring the voltages at each injector to see if it's a bad injector(s) or if it's the ECU or both as a shorted injector could burn out the driver circuit in the ECU.
