Not accelerating and check engine light

Hi, my car running well at day time. But during night trips after turning on the headlights it will work normally for a while then it starts to lose acceleration and check engine light will show up. But it automatically goes off when I use it at day time.

Suppose when I am at night and waiting at signal or round about then the car won’t accelerate quickly after when the speed reach 30 or above then it will start to accelerate. What would be the fault? Please help
