Guys, I need your opinion here if you don't mind, I have someone who came to me about their car not starting over. Story is; one mechanic came and changed out the coil packs and then it started, but another mechanic also came and switched out the sparkplugs and now the car won't start. I'm their last option. So, I checked out the car and first thing I have noticed was the clicking sound from the starter so checked the connection and wasn't grounded. So that's out of the way. Car cranks over but still can't get it to turn all the way running. I sprayed some carburetor fluid and it still wouldn't budge. I'm sorry this is a long story anyway can you guys point me at other causes, and diagnostic measures and procedures. My scanner is not picking up anything codes from the car.

Possible:
Fuel pump
Fuel filter
Coil pack connections

Just to name a few.

Hello,

As you know the engine will spark, fuel and compression to start.
Have you checked for spark?
You said you sprayed carbureotr fluid; do you mean starting fluid?
If you spray starting fluid and it does not start, the issue is likely spark.

Here is a helpful guide on checking the ignition system:

https://www.2carpros.com/articles/how-to-test-an-ignition-system

Can you hear the fuel pump come on when the key gets turned to the on position?
In operative fuel pump can be due to a faulty relay, wiring issue of a bad pump.

Let me know what you are observing.
Thank you.

Checked spark it was there, there's a noise while cranking it. Can you help me identify that sound? It sounds internal. Also, I'm thinking now the ignition switch might be faulty. Anyway, I posted a video here of what it sounds like.

That high pitched noise almost sounds like the starter is about to free spin.
Keep in mind if the ignition switch was bad the engine would not crank over.

Can you tell if that noise is coming from the bottom? See if you can get close to the starter and try to hear it.

Yes, definitely the starter. I had to use the screwdriver to play with the connection but now that it's cranking that high pitch noise is there and yea it's by the starter. Anyhow I'm going to look into it more and once I find the issue, I'll update this post. Thank you for your time.
