No start and battery light on

Changed the battery and starter out on my car. The car wasn’t starting and it still doesn’t. No power from ignition to anywhere else. The dinging happens and nothing else. No power anywhere wiper, lights, nothing just the battery light on the dash.

So if the vehicle only dings but does not do anything when you turn the key then I suspect we have an ignition switch issue but we need to confirm this by checking the voltage from the switch because you may have an issue with the park/neutral switch.

So let's test the voltage coming out of the ignition switch and see what we have when you turn the key to the on and start position. If nothing then we need to replace the switch.
