No reverse lights

My reverse lights do not work and I can’t figure out the problem. When testing with the light tester it shows no power. I have checked the fuses changed the backup safety switch.

Here's the diagram of the circuit. Start by checking for voltage on the two test points on the tops of each fuse. That will get us started with the diagnosis.

Dandy. Assuming both bulbs are good, that leaves a break in the circuit between the two red arrows. Excuse me while I run off and try to find the diagram that shows connector C401. That should be a good place to split the circuit in half.

Connector C401 is simply listed as, "(5 Cavities) In the rear, LH of the frame rail". Check for 12 volts on both sides of it on the light green wire in cavity "B". That will be easy to locate as it's right in the middle of the row of three wires.

If you can't find that connector, look for splice pack SP400. It is shown in the second drawing.
