Attempted to start the vehicle last night 5 minutes after arriving home from a 25-mile drive, no issues on the way home. Attempted to jump this morning, nothing. Removed battery and replaced with new one. Scrubbed terminal connectors to remove some corrosion on negative connection. Installed new battery and still no power at all. No interior lights, nothing. All small fuses appear to be fine, relays as well. I am leaning towards a bad negative terminal connector (corrosion) and or possibly cable.

What happens to these cars is the TIPM overheats and shuts down the electrical power. This is a common problem, but fear not because it is easy to replace because it self initializes. Here is how to do the job in the diagrams below. Check out the diagrams (below). Please let us know what happens.

It is indeed looking like that is the problem. Tested all cables and battery with testers / meters and all checked out fine. Did locate a corroded relay in relay box, switched it out and was really hoping that was the issue - nope. Going to have it towed to a mechanic I guess, since switching out the TIPM I feel is out of my range of abilities.

The fact you found corrosion means water damage, which is common. Let me know what happens. I can help walk you through the repair if you want to give it a go.

Thanks for the direction and response Ken, but as a last-ditch effort before getting it towed away; I changed the negative cable, ground and connectors - it fired right up. We overlooked the actual connector. After removing the old one, I was able to bend the metal quite easily bare handed. Sometimes we need to not over think this stuff, especially as an amateur. Thanks again.
